MEET THE FOUNDER
Hello!
I'm Jason Kattenhorn, a freelance queer illustrator, artist facilitator, and educator.
In 2016 I created Sassify Zine having been inspired by artist and friend Hayley Stevenson. Hayley encouraged me to explore the sassiness within my own artwork and this led to collaborating with many sassy artists over the years. As I navigated my own queerness each issue of Sassify Zine has reflected that. I have been lucky enough to collaborate with some incredible queer artists to help bring each printed issue of Sassify Zine to life.
I now focus on running free community workshops using zines as a tool for Joy, Connection, Reflection and Healing.
