Sassify Zine - May 2020
We are more than our trauma. I think it would also be rad for people to see the beauty and the complexity of who we are as a community…’’

Hello!
I am Jason Kattenhorn, a freelance queer illustrator, Artist facilitator & Educator based in Banbury, UK. I work predominantly digitally, but enjoy collaging and sketching once in a while. My illustration work usually depicts those LGBTQ+ bodies we are told to hide. I love to explore queer intimacy and positivity in all its forms because queer bodies are awesome; they are resilient, and they are beautiful.
In 2016 I created Sassify Zine an award winning queer culture print magazine and online features website that luxuriates in queer art and sassiness.
You can watch my TEDx Talk 'Queer Art is not just for Queer people' here.
